decent stay but not perfect
I appreciated the warm atmosphere in the lobby with holiday decorations. The fireplace provided a cozy touch. The cleanliness of our room added to our comfort.
The location felt slightly isolated.

It was a wonderful hotel, nothing too much trouble, would recommend. Everything was good, welcoming staff, great views of the mountains. We ate at a good restaurant with great food. Our bed was comfortable. The food was amazing and the location was favourable!

Our stay was very nice. The hotel employees were freindly and helpful. Although the hotel was under renovation, we were not disturbed by noise or construction personnel. The resturant in front was ok, but nothing special. Enjoyed our selves.
One of the bed lamps did not work.

Great place for families
The indoor pool was a real lifesaver for my boys, kept them busy for hours. Plus, got a nice surprise when the front desk called to check if we were still coming in, felt kinda personal.
Not exactly a bargain, but still reasonable given the circumstances.

Checking in was a breeze with friendly staff. We were impressed that the room had a balcony with a lovely view. Dining and area attractions were just minutes away. We spent little time in the hotel so we did not use the fitness room and swimming pool. Thanks for providing free WiFi (although it did not have a strong signal--it faded out four or five times).
The room had telltale signs of prior guests--dirty ice bucket and a black hair tie on the night stand. The tv was worn out as the picture was clearly distorted. The toilet seat was broken.

The staff was very friendly. The location was good and I didn't hear the train noise which I had at other hotels close to this location. Our room was very clean which was good because if it wasn't we were going to leave since the facility was in such poor condition.
The hotel is under going remodeling, I hope. The facilities could be very stunning but were in poor condition. The beds felt like we were sleeping on a box springs, very uncomfortable and squeeky. The poor area needs updating. Someone had tried to put in rocks, plants, etc. around the pool area but it looked very cheesy, not professionally done.
